Toolroom revisit KC Lights’ summer anthem ‘Girl’ with new remixes

Toolroom invite rising duo Nightlapse to remix the production, whilst also welcoming a fresh interpretation from KC Lights himself

Already a Toolroom’s classic, KC Lights’ Girl now receive two brand new refreshing remix from the talented duo Nightlapse as well as from KC Lights himself.

One of Toolroom’s stand-out tracks of 2020, gaining over a million streams via Spotify and heavy support from Mistajam and BBC Radio 1 through to leading house names MK, Dom Dolla, and Piero Pirupa, KC Lights’ Girl now welcomes a fresh set of interpretations this October as Toolroom enlist emerging UK duo Nightlapse to remix the sun-soaked cut, whilst also welcoming back the Glasgow talent to offer up his own paired-pack and emotive version.

First up, KC Lights’ own ‘6am’ remix weaves uplifting melodies with the original’s blissful vocals and shimmering synths to transport listeners on a blossoming journey perfect for both early morning sunrises and dancefloor moments alike, whilst Nightlapse’s interpretation welcomes a powerful peak-time offering as we the duo work menacing basslines against punchy metallic drum licks to reveal an impressive remix package from two of the scene’s most promising names.
