As happened in the previous edition, the Kinetic Stage at Electric Daisy Carnival EDC Las Vegas 2022 has been evacuated because of the high wind. This is not the first time; in 2012 as well as in 2019, part of the entire festival got shut down for the same issue.

The festival staff is working to take down high-hanging swaying objects. At the moment of writing, EDC cut the live stream from the main stage; the Kinetic Field has been shut down. The Cosmic Meadow has been opened back. Circuit Grounds should be back at around 2.15 am PST after Chris Lake, Prydz, and Boris Brejcha. Circuit Grounds is currently operational and Eric Prydz is playing (updated at 1 AM PST) Set times and schedules are available.

Early today the Clark County Department of Environment and Sustainability says also high southwesterly winds have transported elevated levels of dust from dry lake beds into the region.
