Beatport has just announced round two of the ReConnect series with 36-hour of live stream; here’s how to watch it.
Following last month’s phenomenally successful fundraiser which amassed more than 11 million views and raised $185,000 for COVID-19 relief efforts, Beatport has curated another formidable line-up of electronic music heavyweights, who will DJ live from around the globe in support of The Association For Electronic Music, Bridges for Music and Direct Relief non-profit organizations.
Featuring the biggest artists in the electronic music world including Tiësto, Jack Back (David Guetta), MODESELEKTOR, and more, this electronic showcase will enable devoted fans to ‘reconnect’ once again during this unprecedented pandemic crisis, while raising vital funds to support those severely affected.
Beginning today, Friday, April 17th at 8 pm GMT, Beatport will broadcast a live, 36-hour global DJ marathon in partnership with Pioneer DJ. 35 artists including Mark Knight, Claptone, Sasha, Maceo Plex, Joris Voorn, Erick Morillo, Jack Back, Luciano, Monki, Eli & Fur and more will be performing from their homes or studios around the globe. This streaming event will provide a platform to unite our global community during these unprecedented times, while also supporting charities to help those most in need.

Hosted on Twitch and broadcasting live on Facebook, YouTube, and Periscope, this intimate online event is bound to fill your home with the dancefloor vibes we cherish and long for as we shelter in place.
As a way to support both the frontline healthcare workers who are battling the spread of Coronavirus and those in our music scene that are in dire straits financially during this global pandemic, all the donations collected during the event will go to the Association For Electronic Music’s COVID-19 Hardship Fund, and Bridges For Music.
Helping us raise awareness and funds for this online danceathon are some of the biggest names in music tech, like Pioneer DJ, Native Instruments, and Roland. Offering up loads of free gear as an incentive for viewers to donate, you can tune in for your chance to score headphones, speakers, DJ controllers, software, synths, and more.
