Tale Of Us‘ imprint Afterlife welcomes Maceo Plex with ‘Lonely Tribe,’ including a remix by Fango.
Eric Estornel, mainly known as Maceo Plex has become a key artist for Afterlife Recordings in recent times. He played a great number of shows at Afterlife Ibiza and worldwide alongside Tale Of Us. The collaboration now goes one step further with the release of this distinctive single.
‘Lonely Tribe,’ as you would expect from a producer as Maceo’s caliber, is a festival-ready hit of epic proportions. It snakes through passages of woodwind melody and vocal samples, driven forward by typically powerful and crisp percussion. On the B-side, you can find the remix from Fango, where he is stripping back the original over a lean and sliding groove.
Pete Tong played ‘Lonely Tribe’ on his Essential Selection on Radio One last Friday. The track was heavily supported by Tale Of Us during their latest performances.
