On January 3rd, Magdalena‘s SHADOWS party makes its long-awaited return to Tulum. The acclaimed DJ and producer herself will headline with Stephan Jolk, Eelke Kleijn, and a support act will also line up at Mía Tulum, Mexico. Tickets are available here.
Magdelena is the brains behind the SHADOWS party company. In Ibiza and around Europe, the afternoon-into-evening events are known for their electric atmospheres, with her own forward-thinking sets of richly melodic house and techno at the center of each one, alongside a special guest. She’s also been a long-time member of the Diynamic family, helping to organize events, performing with the brand all over the world, and releasing her expertly crafted grooves on the label since the beginning. She is currently on tour in India, but she will return to Tulum after making great memories there with parties in 2019 and 2020, but she will skip the party in 2021 due to the risk of COVID.
Hosting SHADOWS in Tulum is always very special to me, because the SHADOWS brand fits very well with the Tulum kind of vibe. SHADOWS was born under the Ibiza sun and taking it to the palm trees of Tulum for us is a logical path to walk. – Magdalena
This will take place in Mia, which is a spectacular location. Mia Beach Club is strategically located in the best area of Tulum’s Hotel Zone, providing the ideal atmosphere with beautiful sand beaches and crystal clear blue sea close by.
Stephan Jolk will join Magdelena on stage with his emotionally-charged techno, which features spiraling melodies and a plethora of subtly-evolving layers. Eelke Kleijn is a Rotterdam-based Dutch producer and DJ who has performed around the world and released music on labels such as Armada Music, Ministry of Sound, and Days Like Nights.
This promises to be a memorable open-air and sun-kissed experience, and the ideal way to ring in the New Year.
