Martin Garrix and Matisse & Sadko ‘Hold On’ via STMPD
Including the incredible vocal of Michel Zitron the tune features Garrix's cinematic signature sound rapidly enriched by an increasing percussive rhythm of the build-up
Martin Garrix is ready to wish you Merry Christmas with his tune together with Matisse and Sadko, Hold On.
2019 is coming to an end and, today is also Christmas. This is why, maybe, the three-time DJ Mag TOP 100 DJs winner, Martin Garrix has decided to release one of his most awaited IDs. Played for the first time, as a worldwide premiere during his solo show at Amsterdam RAI for the annual ADE, the track was massively played after that on almost every Martin’s show.
The tune, featuring the incredible vocal of Michel Zitron, kicks off with Garrix’s cinematic signature sound rapidly enriched by an increasing percussive rhythm of the build-up. Again, Garrix’s unmistakable use of the melodies brings the listener to a drop that will be stuck in your head. The soft plucked melody on top is driven by a wide baseline on the background creates a pause to recharge the energies to, again, drop to a powerful second drop. It’s not a casualty that, even if it was the first time that Martin Garrix played it in Amsterdam, the crowd went totally crazy.
Of course, we have to give the right credits to Matisse and Sadko too. With their incredible talent in the progressive and electro house scene, the duo has surely contributed in a non-replaceable way bringing Hold On to be another incredible hit.
Martin Garrix and Matisse & Sadko Hold On marks the latest release on STMPD as well as the latest tune for the three artists for this decade. Available this Friday worldwide, you can enjoy it at 1:04:00 of Martin’s show during ADE at Amsterdam RAI. Pre-save here http://stmpd.co/l9Mqy
