Martin Garrix finally drops ‘Waiting For Tomorrow’ ft. Mike Shinoda

Last updated:

It’s time. October 19, 2018. The full Martin Garrix BYLAW EP is here and with it, the long-awaited ‘Waiting For Tomorrow’ feat Linkin Park member Mike Shinoda.

‘Waiting For Tomorrow’ is probably the longest-lived ID of Martin. Played for the first time ever at Ultra Music Festival mainstage Miami in 2016, the record rapidly became the most watched Martin Garrix ID. It was massively played during 2016 and 2017 and it has seen a period of stop in 2018.

The long-awaited Martin Garrix single, featuring Linkin Park member Mike Shinoda and Pierce Fulton, ‘Waiting For Tomorrow’ is finally here on STMPD.

The record is in collaboration with Pierce Fulton, an American DJ, musician, and singer, and Mike Shinoda from Linkin Park. At the beginning of this year, Mike unexpectedly published his first solo EP ‘Post Traumatic’ publishing three video clips focused on his past following the disappearance of Bennington. For those who don’t know, on the 20th of July, 2017, historical Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington was found dead at his home in California.

‘Waiting For Tomorrow’ has everything you can expect from a Martin Garrix tune: monumental vocals, fantastic melody lines, and incredible energy. The record is a pure gem but, it seems to be not the exact same version premiered at Ultra 2016 (of course, I would say). The structure of the track is a little bit hanged as well as part of the lyrics. The drop sounds a little bit cleaner and less powerful and it seems it seems to miss the wraparound bassline.

Anyway, these are only small critics from very a restricted numbers of people and, we can surely say that ‘Waiting For Tomorrow’ is one of the greatest records that Martin has ever released. As the previous one, it is part of BYLAW EP (made by Breach, Yottabyte, Latency, and Access) and it comes out with its official video clip. The EP has been released ahead of Martin’s performance of tonight at Amsterdam RAI.
