‘Skywalking’ the long-awaited Mathame single is finally out now on Tale of Us imprint Afterlife, including a collaboration with Tale Of Us, ‘Departure’.
If there’s something that musically touches my soul, it’s for sure Mathame music. From the unique melodies to the perfectly fitting percussions, the Italian duo has always proven their ability to deliver freshness and never-heard-before vibes. ‘Skywalking’ is another proof of their incredible skills.
Constantly used by Tale Of Us on their sets, ‘Skywalking’ has started to spread across the web thanks to Mind Against performance at Musée des Confluences for Cercle. Early this year, Tale Of Us delivered an incredible Afterlife Voyage including ‘Skywalking’ at the very end.
Kicking off with a minimal kick and sub-loop filled with a shaker rhythm, ‘Skywalking’ rapidly set the base for the, already legendary, melody. Tension hangs off the sliding chords and spacious arrangements until the beat drops. From that moment, you will be taken into a mystical journey through euphoric crescendo and hypnotic rhythms.
If you thought ‘Skywalking’ was enough to Mathame, you were wrong. Paired to the incredible tune, Tale Of Us joined forces for ‘Departure’. Keeping the level of mystery very high, ‘Departure’ brings dark shadows and, once again, the incomparable Mathame’s melodic lines.
After an extraordinary ‘Nothing Around Us’ EP in 2018, it was difficult to replicate those feelings but, they did. ‘Skywalking’ and ‘Departure’ will touch the deepest area of your soul for good.
