In the last few weeks, event organizers and party institutions from around the globe have announced a series of parties and events in Mexico; kicking off in October all the way to February 2022, Mexico has officially become the dance music hot spot in the world. There are so many parties and events we have drawn up a list of the ones you can’t miss. If you’re staying in Tulum, Playa Del Carmen, Cabo, or Cancun, a vast rainbow of festivals and parties to choose from are insured.
Luna Obscura, rancho El Tinieblo
This October you’ll be able to try an authentic Mexican experience. From the 7th to the 11th of October, 2021, Luna Obscura will welcome its guest at the El Tiniebl rancho for a series of activities that space from safari rides, horse tours, Mezcal tastings, and culinary adventures. Framework Cabo
Bringing together leading house and techno artists, Framework festival will run from December the 9th to the 13th. The lineup brings to Cabo the best DJs of the underground scene including The Martinez Brothers, Dixon, ARTBAT, WHOMADEWHO, and more. Club events, pool parties, morning yoga, and beach activities are just a few of the projects you’re able to do in Cabo during Framework. More info here.
Palm Tree Music Festival Cabo with Kygo
In December, Kygo and his team will lend in Cabo for a 5-day festival. The lineup is massive and includes artists from the lights of Sam Feldt, Nora En Pure, Sofi Tukker, and more. the festival will see ME Cabo as headquarters. Guest will also be able to choose between different accommodations and travel packages to ensure the perfect experience. Pool parties, beachside performances, a stargazing sunset headline performance from Kygo himself are some of the activities on the lineup; yoga sessions with Kygo playing live are also scheduled for the festival. DEPARTURE Festival Playa del Carmen
Definitely the most awaited event of the series; DEPARTURE is the biggest music festival yet going down at Playa Del Carme. Running from January the 6th to the 11th, DEPARTURE features almost 100 artists over 5 days with 12 hours of music each. Phase 1 and Phase 2 lineup are already out and they feature artists from the lights of &ME, Adam Beyer, Adriatique, AME b2b Dixon, Amelie Lens, ANNA, Black Coffe, Camelphat, and tons more. The venue chosen is the Mayan Riviera sunshine, where a newly designed Mirage will be built. This venue, along with two additional new venue space build-outs, will be custom designed and built for those attending DEPARTURE, making it a one-of-a-kind and exclusive experience for all in attendance.
ZAMNA Tulum
As every year, ZAMNA is ready to kick into the Mexican nightlife with its incredible series of events and parties. From the 31st of Decemebr to the 9th of January, ZAMNA Tulum will turn into the house and techno music world’s hotspot. For the New Year’s Eve party, ARTBAT will host their first-ever label party, UPPERGROUND. On the 4th of January, Tale Of Us and Afterlife will return to the idyllic venue with their annual event. On the calendar, Circoloco, Balck Coffee, Masquerade, and Renaissance parties are already planned. Tickets are already available here.
Ibiza Spirit Cancun
For a week, 19-26 of February, Cancun will turn into Ibiza with the Ibiza Spirit Festival. The event will include seven days and nights of incredible events, pool parties, and boat parties, as well as international DJs and clubbing brands, all aimed at bringing the spirit and culture of Ibiza to Cancun’s famed beaches for a unique winter getaway.
