Ukrainian duo ARTBAT is currently one of the most in-demand Melodic Techno acts of the scene; whether is with original tracks or remixes, they always succeed in delivering their killer dose of mainstage-worthy Techno. Thus, it is no surprise that Solomun repeatedly signed their music to his Diynamic label, gifting us with gems such as ‘Prometheus’ and ‘Upperground’.
After the release of their collaboration with Matador and a two-tracker on the legendary Watergate Records, ARTBAT now grace us with their take on Monolink‘s ‘Return To Oz’.
Part of his debut album ‘Amniotic’, ‘Return To Oz’ is a synth-infused techno track paired with an eerie vocal part; the duo’s rework transforms it into a stomping main room banger with Tale Of Us-ish influences. The track did absolute damage when played on top of the Sugarloaf Mountain for Cercle’s event: the spectacular sunset behind their backs created a magical atmosphere, and the stern figure of Christ the Redeemer perfectly paired with the tune.
