A new superclub is about to open in Brasil on the Santa Catarina coast: Surreal. The opening night has already been announced and a massive lineup will attend the guests.

Renato Ratier, the South American dance music visionary who left Warung after more than a decade, has finally revealed his long-awaited next step. Surreal is his brand new project on the Santa Catarina coast, and it promises to be a multi-purpose artistic complex from the man behind the world-famous D-Edge clubs in Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paolo. Surreal already has 33 dates scheduled for next year, with the first wave of names including a mix of homegrown talent like Fabo, Gui Borratto, Anderson Noise, Joyce Muniz, and Whebba, as well as international stars and those who have long been close to D-Edge like Carl Craig, Archie Hamilton, Cassy, Radio Slave, Sonja Mooonear, Steve Rachmad, Rebolledo, wAFF, Henrick Schwarz, Fantastic Man Pre-sale tickets are available now at Sympla.com.

This new artistic complex will be located in Cambori and will provide Santa Catarina with a once-in-a-lifetime cultural experience. It has a total area of 92,000 square meters that can be configured for a variety of events, with a focus on contemporary music and electronic soundtracks. Fully modular, it can host everything from its own parties to large concerts and festivals, as well as social and corporate events with world-class light, sound, and production that will make each event unique and unforgettable.

The venue will open on December 26, 2021, and will feature a variety of areas. The Nomad Stage, for slow and deep melodic house, the Bells Stage, a barn with a more industrial edge for heavier techno and tech-house, and the Raw Room Stage, an open area, are among the options. As well as the music there will be a food court that houses a thousand people with food trucks and a kitchen.

I spent 10 years working hard and intensely, contributing to Warung Beach Club’s growth in order to deliver the best possible experience. I now believe that my mission along with the entire team’s was fulfilled. But music has been running through my veins since I was a child so I am committed to continuing to grow electronic music in Brazil. This new project will do that and very soon everyone will be able to experience the surreal sensations that the new complex will offer. – Renato

Surreal is shaping up to be a game-changer in the Brazilian music scene.
