Tale Of Us‘ imprint Afterlife confirms one of the most-awaited events of the summer season. The iconic UNESCO site, Le Théâtre Antique d’Orange, will be the home of what seems to be the first in-person Afterlife event since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Planned for the 21st of August 2021, Afterlife at Le Théâtre Antique d’Orange will see behind the decks an outstanding lineup; from 3 pm to 11 pm UNESCO World’s Heritage will turn into a parallel universe where Colyn, Kas:st, Adriatique, and Tale Of Us will guide you into a journey through the realm of consciousness.

About the location: Le Théâtre Antique d’Orange

Le Théâtre Antique d’Orange is a Roman theatre in Orange, Vaucluse, France, built early in the 1st century AD. It is one of the best-preserved of all Roman theatres. Over the years the theatre has been used for different purposes but it’s only during the latest centuries that has been restored to its former function, primarily for opera, alongside its use as a tourist spot.

Over the past years, le Théâtre Antique d’Orange has been used as a location for the legendary Cercle events, welcoming in 2019 Adam Beyer and in 2018 the legendary performance of Solomun (the YouTube video has now reached more than 18 M views)

Afterlife has confirmed the event to go as planned, the 21st of August 2021 from 3 pm to 11 pm. Tickets are now on sale via shotgun.live from € 44.50. The event is reserved for 16+ years old

Tale Of Us bring their awe-inspiring soundscapes and the otherworldly visuals of their Afterlife events to an equally impressive, landmark venue, the Théâtre Antique in Orange. Afterlife’s site-specific production will enhance the sonic journeys of Tale Of Us, Adriatique, Kas:st and Colyn.

At the moment there is no information about the access methods in regards to the current Covid-19 situation. The current measure in place allows theatres and show venues at 65% capacity to a maximum of 6,000 people per room. A health pass (the European Green Pass will go live on the 1st of July) will be required for capacities of over 1,000 people (the Theatre of Orange has a capacity of 5,850 to 7,300 people). The same rules are applied for seated open-air festivals (you can keep track of the current measures in place in France to prevent Covid-19 from spreading on the official French Government website).
