After the incredible performance of Maceo Plex on a boat on the Hudson River in New York, Cercle has returned home welcoming Breakbot at the historic auditorium of Salle Wagram.
Built in 1865 and located in the 17th arrondissement of Paris the Salle Wagram is a historic auditorium that has been listed as an official historical monument by the French Ministry of Culture since March 2, 1981. From 2016 the hall, then equipped for 800 spectators for orchestral concerts or, as in this case, to be turned into a club.
Breakbot joined Cercle for a 2 hours DJ set at Salle Wagram in Paris,
Console in the middle and the crowd all around; this is how Breakbot presented himself to the crowd. A big disco-ball on the top of the hall and high-power beams pointed on it creating a beautiful atmosphere.
Breakbot played almost 2 hours of DJ-set spacing from disco music to the underground side of it. He played a couple of IDs as well as his own production.
Thibaut Jean-Marie Michel Berland, a.k.a. Breakbot is a French producer and a DJ who has been signed with Ed Banger Records since May 2009. In February 2016, he released his new album, Still Waters, produced with his acolyte Irfane Khan-Acito, and his track Star Tripper was included in Star Wars Headspace, a Star-Wars themed music album released by Disney.
The full Breakbot performance, as every Cercle party, is available now on Facebook and YouTube so, if you’ve missed it you can re-live without any difficulty.
