Australian House specialists Club Sweat welcome back iconic DJ & producer Tino Piontek aka Purple Disco Machine with a solid two-tracker titled ‘Emotion’. The release marks the return of the German on the label that published his club stompers and radio hits ‘Dished (Male Stripper)’ and ‘Body Funk’.
The EP’s title track, ‘Emotion’, is nothing but pure PDM style at its’ finest: an infectious funky bassline and few other selected instruments, together with an iconic vocal sample, create a dancefloor heater which has already set on fire clubs all over the world, and will surely continue to do so after its’ official release. On the flip side we find ‘Up & Down’, produced together with Tino’s close collaborator Lorenz Rhode; this invigorating tune fits perfectly as a B-Side, being a more modern and club-friendly take on the classic funky vibes that the Dresden-born producer always delivers.
Purple Disco Machine is currently busy with his Summer tour, that has already brought him in the most diverse European clubs, from Hï Ibiza to Studio 338 in London. Production-wise, his latest works are the elaborate ‘Discotheque’ compilation on Glitterbox and a bunches of remixes for internationally acclaimed acts such as RÜFÜS and Foals.
