Quentyn Higher Ground Enroute

Quentyn delivers another progressive house masterpiece, Higher Ground

Former Volt & State member, Quentyn is back on his own imprint Enroute Records.

A pillar of the progressive house scene and one of the most important members of the newborn Protocol Recordings, Quentyn has released music since 2008. With the end of the Volt & State project, the Dutch DJ and producer has launched his own imprint, Enroute.

Now at the 10th release, the label has delivered amazing pieces of music in the last months. The latest drop is Quentyn own tune Higher Ground, a wonderful melodic driven record. With a stunning and catchy vocal, the tune builds its energy with its rising melody; the drop is an explosion of energy with its pure progressive melody and wonderful vocal.

Premiered by the one and only Nicky Romero at Ultra Miami mainstage this year, Higher Ground has already seen support by Dannic and Martin Garrix.

A little background story; This project initially started back in the days being part of Volt & State (Some of you will remember ‘Stay Forever ID w/ Marcus Santoro’ which we played during the Protocol ADE 2015 show). Although we parted Volt & State, I still loved the drop idea I had created back then.

As many people kept sending messages about being sad the track would never be released, I was excited when I finally (coincidentally) created a matching break idea to finish it with. – Quentyn about the release

With many more releases set on the horizon, Quentyn is evolving as musician, producer, and artist. And although his progressive house roots will always remain a starting point, the young talent aims to explore more indie and electro sounds in the future: ‘I’m moving on to experiment with all sorts of different music genres, whilst staying true to the melody’.
