Shapov is ready to release the long-awaited Chasing Shadows on Armada at the end of this month.
It’s been more than five years since the first play of the record; originally attributed to Hard Rock Sofa in 2015, the track was supposed to be released on Axtone as it perfectly matched the sound of that time. Things didn’t go as intended and the track hadn’t seen the light of a release since this month. Shapov teased the record from his studio exactly two years ago, around January 2016 but, again, the track disappeared from the radars.

Five years later, we are now sure Shapov’s Chasing Shadows is set to be released this February, more preciously the 28th, according to Speeeedy EDM Blog. The record, which features the incredible vocal of Cal, will be released on Armada. Shapov recently got very closed to the label, releasing collaborations with the label boss Armin Van Buuren. Iconic their 3-track EP Trilogy last year.
