Skrillex and Fred Again… ‘Rumble’ is out now

The track is the first single of Skrillex's upcoming album and it precedes the release of another single, Way Back Home with Trippie Redd and PinkPantheress

After the leak of Skrillex’s new single ‘Way Back Home’, the legendary producer announced the release of the actual first single of his upcoming album. The tune is the long-awaited Rumble, the collaboration with 2022 phenomena, Fred Again…

Only just days ago on some Skrillex-related community online, the rumors of a brand new tune surfaced. The arrival of a brand new tune by him has been partially confirmed by the artist himself posting a video teaser on his socials. The video was showing his logo in different environments and situations, with several stripped of alleged future Skrillex songs. Later on that day, the full song, Way Back Home with Trippie Redd and PinkPantheress appeared online and fans thought the release day was super close. Supposed to be out today, but the track has yet to be released.

Instead, Skrillex announced his collaboration with Fred Again… and Flowdan, planned for the release tomorrow, the 4th of January 2023. According to Fred Again… Instagram story, the record will be released at 6 PM GMT (London time). Skrillex also confirmed that Way Back Home will be out tomorrow, the 5th of January 2023.

Skrillex’s signature long, curly hair and large glasses have been replaced with a sleek goatee and pulled-back hair, which go along with the new song.

Skrillex has maintained a low-key presence over the past two years. He hasn’t released new work since his 2019 EP “Show Tracks.” He appeared as a guest on a ton of singles in 2021.

Rumble, as Way Back Home, should be part of Skrillex upcoming album, set for release later this year. The album will also feature artists such as Antony Green, and Sleepnt.
