"Spotify for Artists" Masterclass ade 2022

Spotify to hold a Masterclass for Artists during ADE 2022 as Official Music Sponsor

Spotify and Amsterdam Dance Event announced they are set to join forces to celebrate dance culture this Fall as Spotify becomes the official music partner of ADE 2022. The festival and conference last for five days and are held in Amsterdam from October 19 to 23.

On Friday, October 21st, Spotify will conduct a Spotify for Artists” Masterclass where up-and-coming musicians and DJs may learn from professionals in the field how to maximize their use of the streaming service. The discussion will include new Spotify features geared toward DJs as well as particular genre advancements and trends. A special ADE playlist with highlights from the festival’s future program will also be available for fans to use as they get ready for the event.

Since its start, Spotify has made it a priority to support the global dance music industry. Dance artists now have a home on Spotify thanks to the recently announced “DJ Mixes” function, which lets DJs upload their sets. As dance music continues to develop internationally, Spotify has innovated alongside the genre, giving dance artists a home on the site. Martin Garrix, Quintino, ANNA, and Desiree are just a few of the international DJs who have already taken use of the functionality and posted their sets to Spotify. Through this partnership with ADE, Spotify takes the next step in supporting the international dance music community.

We are very proud that Spotify is partnering with Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE). It feels like a natural match. Operating at the heart of the electronic and dance world, ADE serves the same purpose as Spotify: to support dance and electronic artists, producers and DJs around the world by giving them a platform, visibility and editorial support. Many international DJs hail from the Netherlands. It is therefore no coincidence that the world’s most important dance/electronic conference and showcase festival originated in Amsterdam. With Spotify and ADE joining hands to make dance/electronic even bigger together, we can’t wait for ADE to kick-off soon! – Wilbert Mutsaers, Head of Music Benelux
