Swedish House Mafia new management and Las Vegas

Swedish House Mafia recently signed with Ron Laffitte and Patriot Management. Patriot’s roaster includes Pharrell Williams, One Republic, Backstreet Boys and more.

It has been a mystery since Amy Thomson, their longtime manager, resigned at the end of last summer; now, the news is public: Ron Laffitte, head of Patriot Management, is the new Swedish House Mafia manager. Patriot Management includes in the roaster names such as Pharrell Williams, One Republic, Backstreet Boys and more.

Swedish House Mafia, the trio composed by Steve Angello, Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso, is now working on the comeback tour. After the reunion performance at Ultra Miami 2018,  the trio first announced three shows in Stockholm next May and then a series of stops through various festivals in Europe.

Rumors on the next Swedish House Mafia performances are always alive; the last one was about a possible residency in Las Vegas. According to sources near to the Las Vegas nightlife and after the announcement of Sebastian Ingrosso’s solo Residency at Wynn Las Vegas, the SHM club Residency is not likely.

The Swedish trio is set to perform the 2-3-4 of May in Stockholm as the first stop of the reunion tour. As revealed by W&W, Swedish House Mafia is working on tons of new music that will be likely premiered during the Stockholm show. Not only Stockholm, but the tour will also touch most of the European festivals (you can check all the dates here).

Talking about Ron Laffitte and Patriot Management, Laffitte has a long story behind him. Started in the metal music genre, first with Metallica and then with Megadeth, in 2016 he founded Patriot Management. In 2014 he was nominated by Billboard as the ‘Secret Weapon’ for Mega-Management Co. Maverick. Now, besides Swedish House Mafia, Patriot Management includes Pharrell Williams, One Republic, Backstreet Boys, SUM41, DVBBS and more.
