On Thursday, September 29, Afterlife will take over Ushuaïa and Hï Ibiza for a day-to-night Closing Party to celebrate the conclusion of a very unique season. Tale Of Us will play two headline sets at the final summer event of their monumental Afterlife residency, joined by Maceo Plex, Sven Väth, Stephan Bodzin (live), Dixon, Mind Against, Ben Klock B2B Marcel Dettmann, and many more.
Boundary-pushing in Tale of Us This season, Afterlife has been at the center of Ibiza’s most innovative musical activity, inviting top performers from all corners of the house and techno spectrum. Packed-out crowds have enjoyed artful soundtracks and mesmeric production, heightening the experience and making it an immersive event like no other in Ibiza.
The Afterlife Ending Party will now take place simultaneously at sister venue Ushuaïa Ibiza and Hï Ibiza, for the first time ever, making this the most historic Afterlife closing to date. The event starts at 5 o’clock on the renowned poolside stage at Ushuaïa Ibiza, which offers the most distinctive open-air dance scene in all of Ibiza, especially when combined with the club’s consistently stunning production. Afterlife creators and melodic techno innovators Tale Of Us will perform back-to-back with Maceo Plex, as well as being joined by techno visionary Sven Väth, celebrated live electronic music pioneer Stephan Bodzin, and fellow Italian pair Fideles.
At midnight, Hï Ibiza offers three rooms of thrilling activity while the party goes on. The cavernous Hï Ibiza Theatre offers up an all-consuming experience on a grand scale with Tale Of Us returning one final time after a fantastic season with their Afterlife residency. Dixon, the founder of the Innervisions label, is also included, as are the lyrical Italian masters Mind Against, who straddle IDM, house, and techno, and Grammy-nominated producer Cassian.
The Club room offers up an close and personal techno session with Berghain resident Kobosil and the legendary pairing of Ben Klock b2b Marcel Dettmann who bring rolling chunky techno funk, plus Brazilian ANNA and 8Kays. Last but not least, Konstantin Sibold and Ubbah will provide the music for Hï Ibiza’s Wild Corner, one of the island’s most well-known party locations.
Expect totally immersive visual exhibits, specialized lighting displays, and the recognizable Afterlife logo atop the dancefloor, all of which will be topped off by the band’s signature cutting-edge sound engineering and design. The Afterlife season is about to come to an end, but there is still time to enjoy this special double-header at Ushuaïa and Hï Ibiza and create some lifelong musical memories.
