The long-awaited collaboration between Tale Of Us and Pete Tong, Time is finally out and it’s an extraordinary revision of Hans Zimmer‘s tune.
Pete Tong, DJ, broadcaster, and global dance music legend, has announced the release of Pete Tong + Friends: Ibiza Classics, his fourth EP under the Classics format. Teaming up again with long-time collaborator and conductor, Jules Buckley, following their previously acclaimed Classic House, Ibiza Classics, and Chilled Classics releases, and with the world of live music returning post-pandemic, Pete now has his sights set firmly on the dancefloor and concert arena. This new offering showcases the esteemed DJ, Producer, label manager, and all-around champion for talent’s incredibly discerning ear and works as an A&R with a forward-thinking, club-ready approach. Pete Tong + Friends: Ibiza Classics will be released on the iconic Ministry of Sound label on December 3rd, 2021 digitally and on vinyl in 2022. It will feature a handpicked selection of the world’s hottest dance producers, including Tale Of Us, Riton, ARTBAT, Eats Everything, Franky Wah, and vocalists Elderbrook, Vula, and Becky Hill.

The first stunning and emotive club-ready remix comes from Tale Of Us, a renowned Berlin-based, Italian-born electronic duo who reimagine German film score composer and record producer Hans Zimmer‘s epic production, ‘Time.’ The globally adored techno duo’s four-to-the-floor rework seamlessly blends Hans Zimmer’s timeless, classical arrangement with their tacit knowledge of the dancefloor and innate ability to craft deeply moving electronic music. In this hypnotic track, powerful chords and uplifting, luxurious string arrangements meet driving percussion and a monumental breakdown. The song is accompanied by a stunning Balearic visualizer featuring scenes from iconic Ibiza locations such as Es Vedra and Dalt Villa.
