Teho returns on his Labo T imprint with ‘Stern’ ft. Ceas

After being featured on Cercle’s new imprint, Teho is back on his Labo T for the first release of 2022; Stern / Ideal which includes Ceas as a producer as well.

2021 was a massive year for Teho; after landing on the newly created Cercle Records, the new imprint of the iconic media company with Glacier 3000 (that has amassed over 1.5 M streams on Spotify alone), Teho has delivered a series of releases, starting from MillieIf you listen in sequence, one after the other, from Beyond to Any Cost, passing from Fury, the listener has the feeling to hear a story. Stern / Ideal are a new piece of this story that will conclude with the release of his most anticipated album, Infinity.

Stern / Ideal marks another piece of the upcoming Teho’s album Infinity.

The two-tracker release opens with the first track, Stern, which is a mix of deep house, melodic house, and techno. To build tension until the first break, the track begins with a groovy stab and floating elements. The track’s theme is then revealed, along with the track’s main lead, which rises until the drop. The progression continues, culminating in the return of the main theme at the track’s apex. Stern is a pure gem of music, a magnificent collaboration between the two artists.

The second track, Ideal, is more melancholic than Stern, but still has the same vibe. The first chords have a hypnotic feel to them, starting with an intro with a long LFO synth. In the first break, the arpeggio is revealed, and it returns to the track with it. The build-up creates a sense of dread that transports us to another world. The second break gets deeper, the second chords are released, and it gets higher before dropping into the track’s final epic section. Ideal is a magnificent track, full of emotion and harmonies that build over time. The progressive and dreamy vibes of Teho are mixed with felty sounds and emotional chords from Ceas in this two-titled release.

The whole Teho and Ceas Stern / Ideal release is out now on Labo T and can be heard and downloaded below.
