Nicky Romero’s imprint, Protocol never sleep: today a new massive record by Thomas Newson and Sam Void called ‘Like That’ has been dropped.
We have talked last week about Sam Void‘s latest record on Protocol and he’s back in a snap of fingers with another banger, this time in collaboration with the fellow Dutchman Thomas Newson. Their track is called ‘Like That’ and it’s not the typical house track you’re used to hearing around; metallic and organic percussions are the main pillar of the song in typical Thomas Newson old-school style. These very eclectic vibes are driven by UK garage-inspired synths and a bouncy bassline that makes your body move.
Thomas Newson and Sam Void team up for metallic ‘Like That’ on Nicky Romero’s Protocol.
Both artists are not new to Protocol but their previous releases were totally different from ‘Like That’; this very fresh chose of sounds display the skills of both producers. Both Void and Newson will be part of the “Nicky Romero Presents: Protocol x ADE ’18” during the label’s annual showcase at ADE this year, so make sure to witness the magic of their live performances if you’re planning to attend.
Founded by Nicky Romero, Protocol Recordings is one of the leading imprints for innovative house music; it boasts a roster of heavy-hitters complemented with immensely talented up-and-comers, all with a diverse range of sounds that are guaranteed to light up a dance floor. With more than 12 releases during the summer, Protocol does not pose the problem of quality over quantity because it can achieve both in a fantastic way.
