It was no longer an option to sit on the sidelines. A large part of the Brussels festival and club scene is joining forces to organize an iconic open air event at the Atomium, Belgium’s most symbolic location, to raise funds for the people of Ukraine. Together, Paradise City, Hangar, Voodoo Village, Core, Listen, Fuse, C12, Mirano, Couleur Café, Rave Rebels, Nuits sonores & European Lab Brussels, La Cabane, Kiosk Radio, and many others want to make a difference.

On Thursday, March 10th, visitors are invited to an unprecedented charity open-air event at Belgium’s most famous landmark, Atomium. Everyone who wants to speak out against the heinous war in Ukraine is invited to do so between 4 and 10 p.m. by dancing for a good cause. To make their voices heard, the organization is asking people to bring flags, banners, and other strong visual messages.

Visitors will be treated to DJ sets by Belgian artists, as well as beats, bass, and bangers provided by a diverse group of locals. All proceeds from ticket sales and bar revenue will go to the victims of the Ukraine war through Underground4Ukraine. The Underground4Urkaine team is in direct contact with local grassroots activist groups that provide essential aid and support to the most vulnerable people on the ground.

We are still looking for volunteers, so you can apply here if you want to take your contribution to a higher level. Tickets will cost €15, but all attendees are encouraged to donate more if they are able.

Art isn’t intended to be used to decorate apartments. Art has always been made to move people, propel them forward, and create new realities. Let us stand together and send a clear message that violence is never the solution. Let us demonstrate to the rest of the world that the Belgian underground is united in its opposition to the war. We’d like to invite you to join the movement. When, if not now, will it be?

Ville de Bruxelles, Laser System Europe, AB Inbev, Tatou Production, Croix Rouge de Belgique, Teamwork, Spooker Art, SPA, Eventication, Paylogic, VisitBrussels, iGuard Security, Rock The City, Van Poucke Rental, AED Group all contributed to the success of this event.
