Ultra’s RESISTANCE announces club residency at M2 Miami

RESISTANCE Miami will launch in 2023, showcasing the world’s most in-demand house and techno talent at M2

With ongoing events on each of the six continents, RESISTANCE is hailed as the most global house and techno festival brand by ULTRA Worldwide.

Since its inception in 2015, RESISTANCE has grown into a roving powerhouse of underground curation, putting on tours across Latin America and programming stages at Ultra events in 35 cities worldwide. The biggest nightclub in the world, Privilege, hosted RESISTANCE’s inaugural residency in Ibiza in 2017. Since then, heavyweights in house and techno music have performed there, including Carl Cox, Adam Beyer, Sasha & John Digweed, Joseph Capriati, Jamie Jones, Tale Of Us and Maceo Plex, to name a few. The following year, RESISTANCE Ibiza was awarded the coveted title of ‘Best Ibiza Night 2018’ by DJ Awards in its sophomore season.

Following three banner years in Ibiza, Ultra has announced the 2023 launch of RESISTANCE’s inaugural U.S. club residency in the festival’s beloved hometown of Miami Beach. The hottest house and techno artists in the world will perform at RESISTANCE Miami at M2, a brand-new nightclub in the center of the Art Deco District.

The historic 35,000 square foot space at 1235 Washington Avenue, which was formerly home to Mansion, recently underwent an extensive multi-million dollar renovation. M2 will transform RESISTANCE’s renowned, stadium-smashing production into a more secluded, seductive club setting over two enormous floors. In addition to booking some of the most sought-after underground acts, RESISTANCE promises to curate an elevated nightlife experience for both VIP guests and dance floor denizens.

MS Club in Miami

M2 has remained a legendary figure in the history of nightlife since its 2000s debut in New York City. The prestigious brand, now in its most recent incarnation, will debut in one of the top clubbing locations on earth. Since it once housed The French Casino in 1935, this iconic location has been deeply ingrained with entertainment. The space also played host to Prince’s own iconic club Glam Slam, which he helmed from 1994 – 1997. M2 is certain to provide unforgettable musical moments in the center of Miami Beach, joining the ranks of other renowned nightlife hotspots that have called 1235 Washington Avenue home, including Club Z, Club 1235, Paragon, Level, and Mansion until it closed in 2015.
