We Belong Here

An entirely new type of boutique festival called We Belong Here. There is no other festival on the planet quite like it, whether it be due to the distinctive circular stage, the affluent crowd, the sophisticated production, or the breathtaking setting on Miami’s Virginia Key Beach Park. From February 25 to February 26, 2023, The Magic will be back with performances by Lane 8 and Kaskade as headliners. For a full weekend of VIP Admission, tickets start at $159 and are available here.

The festival: We Belong Here

We Belong Here operates in a unique way. For those who value close relationships and finer details in life, it is a cozy and opulent experience. This idyllic gathering takes place on Virginia Key Beach Park’s beautiful and historic beaches, which date back to 1896 and the founding of the state of Miami. In the most inclusive area of Miami, the barrier island park’s expansive wetlands and panoramic views of the bay and the Atlantic provide a distinctive setting for spine-tingling musical moments as the sun sets.

Rather than a towering main stage, last year We Belong Here pioneered the first ever 360 Experience, a circular stage placed in the center of the dance floor that gets you up close to the performing artists and offers a full circle of sound with every position offering the perfect vantage spot, lots of space and great views. With an incredible lineup that includes both local and international talent, it promotes the creation of friendships and musical memories unlike any other.

The first name to be made public is Kaskade, who will perform a unique, three-hour Redux set. For many years, these sets have been a consistent component of his sound. They are when the well-known performer delves into the underground roots of his genre while playing everything from deep house to classic music. He has showcased similar sounds on a series of Redux EPs and though he still knows how to craft chart-topping magic, he also excels when embracing this side of his musical character.

Meanwhile, Lane 8 will perform a 3-hour sunset set that is sure to be breathtaking. His melodic house style, which is steeped in bittersweet beauty, is ideal for that time of day. The American musician has spent years honing this distinctive sound and now mainly releases music on his own This Never Happened label. His fourth album Reviver was another big hit back in January of this year, so expect to hear some from it at this extended set.

The VIP amenities at We Belong Here will be open to all attendees, unlike other festivals. This includes an unmatched food experience, lounge seating, trailer-style restrooms, and more.

The intention is to create the kind of experience and community that we’d like to be a part of not just in this moment, but for the rest of our lives. – We Belong Here Co-Founder Justin Dauman

With hotels, villas, and even yacht charters (yes, you can arrive at the venue by boat!) all available through a partnership with Miami-based travel technology company CrewFare, the selection of lodging at this unique festival is unmatched.

We Belong Here is more than an event, it’s a community where everyone can feel welcome, be treated like a VIP, and experience dance music in a setting unique from traditional clubs, concert venues, or festivals. – We Belong Here Co-Founder Charles Hochfelder

The team behind the festival

We Belong Here’s proudly independent team has promoted events in prestigious clubs throughout New York City, The Hamptons, and Miami in the past and with a variety of brands. They launched We Belong Here on Halloween 2021 with a takeover of the first-ever New York Stock Exchange (now Cipriani Wall Street), featuring MEDUZA as the headlining act. They live by the motto “by the people, for the people.” The 2022 single-day festival was a massive success featuring the likes of Nora En Pure, Purple Disco Machine, and Don Diablo.

With the assistance of Common Ground Presents, the group behind the wildly popular NYC Meatpacking District bar and pop-ups in Montauk and Tulum that have hosted everyone from Diplo to Vintage Culture, the concept will be expanded to 2 days in February.

Additionally, a portion of the event’s proceeds will go toward providing Miami residents in need with scholarships to Scratch Academy. Graduating from the program ensures a fully-fledged career as a professional DJ at weddings, private events, and nightclubs as well as a foundation from which greater artistic aspirations can be achieved.

The countdown to this elegant two-day getaway on Miami’s most beautiful beach has begun.
