As part of Perfecto’s 30th anniversary, Paul Oakenfold presents new single “Hallucinate“. Co-written by Paul and Penny, Hallucinate’s lyrics are inspired by Penny’s spiritual home – Ibiza, where the track will no doubt go down a storm this summer.

It’s pure dancefloor euphoria – a sure fire anthem which builds into an overwhelming sensory rush, just like its title.

Hallucinate is one of my favourite new songs. I’ve been a fan of Penny F for a while, and finally got to collaborate with her on this one. It’s a wonderful song and Penny has a fantastic voice. I’ve been playing it the last few months and a lot of people have been asking for it. So here it is!

To mark a major milestone for one of the most famous dance music companies, there will be special releases, remixes, collaborations, and live shows.

Things began earlier this year with the release of “Concentrate,” the first song Paul and Carl Cox ever worked together on.

Now, a documentary called “Welcome to Perfecto” is on the way. It includes interviews with famous DJs like Fatboy Slim, Carl Cox, Todd Terry, David Guetta, and more. Plus, Paul will make a series of special DJ appearances in America, the UK, Ibiza, and Australia, at parties, festivals, and superclubs like Cream where he made his name.

He will play old Perfecto songs and deep cuts like PPK’s “ResuRection,” Planet Perfecto’s “Bullet in a Gun,” and his own hits like “Starry Eyed Surprise,” which he made with Crazy Town’s Shifty Shellshock and was on Oakenfold’s 2002 platinum debut solo album Bunkka.

There will be new music from some of the most cutting-edge acts and producers working today, like Velvet Cash, Danny Stubbs, Blink, Adam White, and Nat Monday.

Oakenfold has built a dance music business that includes making DJ superstars like Hernán Cattáneo, Mark Ronson, and David Guetta, as well as introducing new people to underground dance sounds.

Perfecto 30” will honor Oakenfold’s history and legacy.

The main Perfecto label and its four sub-labels—Perfecto Records, Perfecto Fluoro, Perfecto Black, and Perfecto House—have been a part of almost every major dance scene in the last few decades, from progressive and trance to drum and bass, Balearic, electro, and more.

Perfecto is now a thirty-year-old brand: there are generations that have grown up with the sound. They got into dance music and have grown up with the label, collecting our vinyl from day one. It’s turned into much more than a label. So to celebrate that spirit, I’m just going to do what I’m good at and really love – and go out in a blaze of glory for my last dance. – Paul Oakenfold on Perfecto 30
