Welsh DJ and producer Sasha dropped an incredible remix for SYML‘s single The Bird. The track is out now via Nettwerk.
Came out months ago, the original mix of SYML The Bird was picked as one of the Best 11 Songs We Heard by NPR. Described as “fantastic” and “takes him to glitchier and more soaring terrain, like some sort of gorgeous pastiche of Hozier and Sigur Rós” by the critiques, the tune received great appreciation worldwide.
Now, it’s time for Sasha remix, who has injected his signature sound on the tune. The Grammy Award nominee, four times International Dance Music Award winner and four times DJ Mag Award winner Sasha took The Bird to an altogether different sonic level.
When SYML approached me to remix ‘The Bird’, I couldn’t wait to get in the studio. The original has beautiful ethereal melodies, and incredible vocals, so there were amazing parts to work with. I just had to get the beats right and I’m really happy with how it turned out – Sasha
Sasha brought its signature sound on the track, merging powerful beats to melancholic vibes.
