Fedele (former Agents of Time member) found the first version of “Burn Like Fire” on the Facebook page of Xx Isis xX. It’s a very personal synth-pop song that she made herself and put online to see what people would think. Fedele liked the song so much that he asked her if he could remix it and release it out on his label Obscura. He gave it his signature chugging electro treatment, which turned it into a happy club weapon, and she agreed.

This remix adds pulsing energy to the piece. It combines strong drums with a mesmerizing array of bright and captivating synths. The rhythm is catchy, and the sound design is powerful. The original lyrics, which were left alone, give the song a fiery soul. The placed drum breaks make it edgy and suspenseful.

Another exciting set of killer remixes of “Burn Like Fire” by Rez Dorsia and Oona Dahl is also on the way. Rez’s remake is set to come out in early February 2024.

Fedele gives a clear picture of modernist machine music by looking at the conflict between loud effects and subtle innovation. His sound is a mix of the rough sound changes of electro, the driving beats of techno, and deep emotional expression that comes from the fact that he learned to play the violin.

Fedele discovered the original synth-pop track on Xx Isis xX’s Facebook page and was so captivated that he approached her to remix it for his label, Obscura. Transforming it with his signature chugging electro treatment, Fedele turned the personal song into a vibrant club anthem.
