Paris-based DJ and producer, GONE is back with a new single, Control, marking his first release in 2022.
You may remember him because we already featured GONE a couple of times on this blog. First with his insane remix of Billie Eilish’s Your Power and then because of his 4-track Sources EP. Released on Enchanté Records, the same label where Control has been released on.
The new record comes after two first live performances in Paris at La Fondation Louis Vuitton and La Bellevilloise Club at the end of 2021.
Control is a dark techno track with a classic techno flavor that reminds us of a hot clubby night. This track has a high-energy groove thanks to GONE’s spoken voice, a hard rumble kick, and a deep bassline. He composed this track for a live performance at the Louis Vuitton Foundation in Paris.
I made this track in a hurry the night before a live performance that I played at @louisvuittonfoundation in Paris. It describes this inapprehensible feeling when you walk into a club for the first time and abandon yourself to an evil and mechanical techno beat – GONE
