The Summer Series is a six-part series, and it is now presenting its fourth track. This series will light the way forward, and it will promise a vivid symphony of sound and image.
TOKYO SZN and the collaboration with Farrago
The enigmatic ‘TOKYO SZN‘ is up next on 808 STUDIOS. Produced in conjunction with a DJ and producer from Belgium by the name of Farrago. The song begins with a bass riff that is ominous and is accompanied by swirling, high-pitched synth notes. A constant onslaught of snare drums and hi-hats can be heard, creating the dominant big room sound. Alternating kick drum rhythms provoke jolting changes in energy by driving it to push and pull in opposite directions.
Over the top of the blazing acid lines and percussions, indistinguishable vocals and choir samples can be heard dancing. This adds a sense of humanity to the track. Unquestionably one of the most exciting releases to come out of 808 STUDIOS in recent times.
