Chris Stussy makes his long-awaited FUSE debut

He releases the much-anticipated 'Midtown Playground,' with Huerta on remix duties.

It’s unusual for an artist to elicit such curiosity and attention with each and every release.

Nonetheless, the mesmerizing worldwide focus on Chris Stussy appears to be growing with each unannounced production teased in his ever-impressive shows.

The humble and hardworking Dutchman has been letting the music do the talking in recent years, with his Up The Stuss project welcoming a new musical focus and providing a platform for him to grow and evolve into an artist at the pinnacle of his game.

Not to be outdone, the rising DJ/producer and label boss Enzo Siragusa invites him to his iconic FUSE imprint for the first time, bringing the release of one of his most requested tracks to date, ‘Midtown Playground‘ – with LA-born, Berlin-based DJ, producer, and Leisure boss Huerta also making his first appearance on the remix.

Midtown Playground‘ brilliantly shows Stussy’s sound, from the instantly recognizable synths and main melody to the skipping percussion and rumbling core bassline.

The same can be said for ‘From The Delicate Mist Of Morning,’ a more subtle yet mesmerizing offering, while ‘Blueprint,’ another unreleased standout, gives that authoritative yet fun rhythm for which he’s become so well known.

Huerta’s reverse of ‘From The Delicate Mist Of Morning’ is a deep, colorful, and airy excursion into cosmic spheres, while digital purchasers may enjoy a bonus song in ‘Mythical Power’ – a warping, jacking, and frightening effort made for crowded late-night dancefloors.
