The ‘The Theory’ EP, which was released by Massano (our interview), serves as the impetus for the ideas that are behind Simulate. It outlines the concept and basis of the rising star’s new label.

Listeners are meant to be enthralled by Massano’s futuristic investigation, which pushes the limits of what may be expressed sonically.

This extended play welcomes listeners on a digital voyage into the artistic vision of Massano.

It has three tracks that explore deep into the fields of raw emotion, ethereal melodies, and entrancing rhythms.

Massano’s new EP The Theory and his new label Simulate

Alone,” a breathtaking collaboration with the immensely gifted Braev, serves as the first track on “The Theory EP.”

The mesmerizing voice of Braev and the energizing and distinctive production style of Massano combine to create music that is packed with moments that will stay with you forever.

Next, “The Blaze” is a tune that exemplifies Massano’s unique sound. It is a music that is both raw and forceful. “The Blaze” is a song with a relentless amount of energy that sets the dancefloor ablaze with its intense ferocity.

The EP comes to a close with a piece titled “Paranoia,” which is deceptively straightforward but profoundly effective. This track demonstrates Massano’s mastery of rhythm and sound manipulation.

With the release of this EP, Massano further demonstrates his capacity to combine complicated rhythms, raw intensity, and emotional depth in a seamless manner.

Each song on this EP is a tribute to the artistic vision that Massano has, and it takes listeners on a transformative trip that reveals what the mission for Simulate is all about.

To showcase the ideas behind Simulate, I wanted to kick things off with an EP from myself to really cement what the sound, look and feel of the label will be. These tracks are about using digital and futuristic sounds to create aggressive yet energetic and emotional moments that can be enjoyed both on the dancefloor and at home. Alone is the first track of the EP, a captivating collaboration with the hugely talented Braev – this track is one that really showcases what Simulate is all about, to me this track shows human creativity fighting with digital innovation. The Blaze is next up, a much-requested track that I have been playing in my sets for some time now, and it never fails to get people moving. I love how raw this track is and it further emphasizes the digital feel of the label. Paranoia closes out The Theory EP, it’s a simple yet effective track that plays off the idea of having lots of different sounds, both analog and digital, playing the same rhythm which creates interesting calls and responses throughout. – Massano

About the artist: Massano

Massano is a rising talent who is originally from Liverpool.

He is well-known for the aggressive sound design, mesmerizing grooves, and melodies that he creates.

He has become a rising celebrity in the world of techno and beyond because of his releases on prestigious record labels such as Afterlife and the amazing support he receives from some of the biggest musicians in the world, such as Tale of Us, Calvin Harris, David Guetta, Diplo, Fisher, Pete Tong, and a legion of other A-list DJs.

In 2023, he introduced a project called Simulate, which investigates the idea that life is a simulation through the use of music, technological innovation, and philosophical inquiry.

In addition to serving as a forum for Massano’s releases, Simulate encourages the work of other up-and-coming electronic music artists who are striving to expand the genre’s sonic frontiers.

I always like to associate the elements in music I listen to with physical beings or ideas. My idea for Simulate is exactly the visions this music provokes – it’s about accompanying digital ideology and theories with visions for the future. Through this label, I’m aiming to provide new experiences and push others to embrace the possibility that life could be a simulation whilst imagining how a future world controlled by technology could be. I’m beyond excited to share this vision through music and visuals whilst building a unique family of artists whose music aligns with my ideas for the label. I’m humbled to finally share these ideas with a community of listeners, and it’s my goal to bring people together to build something truly special that lasts a lifetime and beyond! – Massano
