MuMu Clubhouse is a sun-kissed refuge for relaxation during the day, with soft white sand underfoot, cocktails, small meals, and Balearic music. By night, it transforms into a contemporary dance music sanctuary, hosting some of the world’s most well-known DJs, as rhythms ebb and flow beneath the stars.
The 4000-person capacity facility features a cutting-edge D&B Audiotechnik sound system. It will host carefully curated weekend parties, with six large-scale events already scheduled for 2024. They will provide a diversified lineup of world-class international and local talent. This includes The World’s Biggest Pool Party for Songkran Water Festival 2024, an unparalleled experience and iconic celebration.
The spirit of the area is set by the atmosphere of the music. Arthur Delaney, the Creative Director behind MuMu talks about the new open-air club
When I was approached about developing a new beach club at the edge of Phuket’s largest man-made lagoon earlier this year, I knew we had the potential to create something very special and I hopped on the first plane. Since then we have all been working to build MuMu into a dynamic creative space for music, art, design & everything inbetween. We are developing the programming for a series of parties around our launch in February 2024 featuring both internationally renowned DJs and local talent. Arthur Delaney is the Creative Director and founding member, vocalist, and songwriter of the UK electronic band HLOS. He has performed all around the world, including Coachella, Lollapalooza, and The Other Stage at Glastonbury.
The team behind MuMu
Zoárd Heuzé is a founder and DJ in the London-based collective Lunedance, as well as the Creative Strategist and Director of international casting agency Tide Casting. Daniel Zautashvili is a Creative Strategist and Producer who specializes in production, branding, and consultancy. He previously worked as a production coordinator at Big Smoke Corporation, as the Head of Production at Lunedance, and for renowned companies such as Sony Music Entertainment and Shapero Rare Books. They are now in charge of MuMu Clubhouse.
Rec N Cue, a Phuket-based DJ collective comprised of Tissanai, Nutnai, and Jah, is responsible for the music direction and programming. They have performed at Babaloop, Café del Mar, Wonderfruit, and other famous events throughout Thailand. Rec N Cue held TAN TAB LAB, a successful three-day music festival in Phuket, in 2022.
On February 10th, 2024, MuMu Clubhouse Phuket will have its first party.
