Voodoo Village

Voodoo Village returns in just two weeks

An enchanting fusion of sounds and experiences

Voodoo Village, a two-day festival, promises to be another amazing event this year. Voodoo Village traditionally brings the festival summer to a stunning finish with an incredible mix of worldwide musicians, local talent, and exciting experiences.

Festival attendees will experience a unique sonic voyage. From the mesmerizing sounds of Adriatique to the amazing show by the Italian pair Mathame with lasers, projections, and motion graphics to WhoMadeWho and their Hybrid DJ Set. But as always, local heroes like Yves Deruyter, Lola Haro, and Nico Morano also have a spot in Voodoo Village.

The stages

Voodoo Village, however, is a sensory-stimulating event that goes beyond music. The Oracle by Gimber, a section devoted to holistic experiences that elevate the body and mind, is one of the highlights of this issue. Visitors to this magical oasis can take part in enlightening programs like the enticing Cocoa Ceremony and the tying Partner Bliss and Loving Touch.

These courses offer to promote deep connection, inner development, and the creation of a space for self-care and reflection. The Oracle will be transformed into a sixth stage with live performances from around the world when night falls.

What to eat

The festival restaurant at Voodoo Village, where several hundred visitors will be pampered (by reservation) with a shared cuisine developed by Mallory Gabsi and Paul Delrez, once again attracted some of the best chefs.

Gabsi, a 26-year-old Ixelles native, received a Michelin star this year for his Mallory Gabsi restaurant in Paris, which is close to the Arc de Triomphe. At Floris, the festival restaurant, he will prepare a delectable shared meal with culinary genius Paul Delrez, who is also of Belgian descent.

This year, Voodoo Village aims to further its bewitching nature while also stoking the senses and stimulating the mind.

As a festival rooted in community and connection, we are excited to announce that a portion of this year’s proceeds will be donated to some local, Grimberg charities. Some of these inspiring initiatives include Villa N.J.A.M., a place where young adults with disabilities are offered tailored enriching daytime activities and encouraged to flourish; Care Farm Huppeldepup, where care and nature come together to promote wellbeing and Den Diepen Boomgaard, an oasis of greenery where creating community and a safe place to grow are key. – Maxim Dekegel of Voodoo Village

Easily reach the festival via public transit

And finally, this year, the organization is working even harder to improve public transit. For instance, Voodoo Village has set up a comprehensive bus service plan that includes a shuttle bus route for Antwerp, Brussels, Ghent, Hasselt, Leuven, and Mechelen. Brussels visitors can even board a party boat that leaves from Tour & Taxis. The trip lasts around an hour, during which time guests can enjoy DJ sets and refreshments.

There is still time to take advantage of a small discount on Voodoo Village tickets. Currently, day tickets start at €75, and weekend tickets start at €125. Additionally, discounted tokens are still readily available momentarily.
