Drawing inspiration from nature and the cyclical elements that define it, with his latest work “Nature will give all the answers” Gaspare De Vito aims to translate into sound the powerful energy that inevitably connects human beings with their surroundings. This musical work, which will be released on October 14th by the Italian label Frequenza Records and is based on the live recording of the title track, explores the connection between man and nature through various interpretations of the same track while attempting to capture the feelings and sensations elicited by nature itself in sound.

The EP opens up with the title track, a rework of the live version; an ever-present kick creates a mesmerizing background whilst other melodic and percussive elements slowly rise up, as though inviting the listener to be carried away by the sounds. De Vito creates a track that is both hypnotic and captivating by using improvisation to establish a sonic dialogue between the various elements that seamlessly blend with the recording.
The Sarno Interlude version takes a break from the hypnotizing rhythm of its live version, creating a sense of space and calmness, highly emphasized by the presence of a soothing voice which recalls the pulsating and powerful voice of a mantra. The live recording, which was made in a single take, leads the listener through a progression of sounds and patterns that happen gradually but smoothly.
De Vito’s background in jazz music is clearly highlighted by the interweaving of layers and once again in powerful improvisation which reminds us of the meaning of nature as a set of phenomena: nature is a dimension that must be listened to and contemplated both aesthetically and as a perennial source of inspiration containing the answers to the existential questions that human beings always ponder. De Vito wants to remind us of this through his music.
The remix created by Daniele Principato is, even more, club-oriented, with a dominant bass line and accentuated high hats that remind us of peak-time Drumcode bangers. If the original track proves to be the ideal track to be played in the early morning hours.
