Playa Soleil, Ibiza‘s newest beach bar, restaurant, and club, has announced a series of music residencies that will take place during the summer of 2023.
The cozy hideaway is tucked away in the middle of Platja d’en Bossa. It features top-tier international DJs and world-class cuisine in a laid-back and enchanting setting on the coast of the Mediterranean.
The new Ibiza beach club Playa Soleil
Playa Soleil is a fresh new immersive beach experience that has refined the art of relaxation by combining a thoughtfully curated mix of modern art, music, gastronomy, and wellness practices.
Playa Soleil is located on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
This swanky new beach bar, restaurant, and club provides the ideal setting for spending the weekend dancing the night away beneath the sun, the moon, and the stars.
The bohemian hideaway relies on Ibiza’s rich history as a haven of escape and liberation and enables guests to indulge in the island’s finer goods while also soaking up the island’s spiritual energy and natural beauty while being surrounded by Ibiza’s sun-drenched coastline and crystal clear waters.
From the traditional aesthetic to the individualized assistance, every facet of the experience has been thoughtfully attended to.
The beach club programme
The musical programming is led by two flagship events called Rumors on Fridays and Palmarama on Sundays. Both of these events include a lineup of internationally recognized DJs, special guests, and remarkable talent.
In addition to these events, guests will also have the opportunity to enjoy a soundscape that has been painstakingly curated by a variety of DJs, artists, and performers.
Le Restaurant, the venue’s protected patio portion, will be the place where the soundtrack comes to life, while Maison Musique, the inside club space, will be dedicated exclusively for special night events when the island’s beautiful souls meet to rejoice and dance beneath the sun and stars.
This summer, the following events are scheduled to take place:
SANDIA
Tuesdays | 4 July – 26 September
SANDIA, the brand new residency that the Melon Bomb crew will be hosting at Playa Soleil every Tuesday during the summer, will feature some of the newest and most cutting-edge house and disco music.
From 6 p.m. till the bar closes, dine or sip beverages while overlooking the water.
ALL I NEED
Wednesdays | 5 July – 27 September
The popular Swiss DJ and resident of Ibiza Andrea Oliva and his guests take over the decks every Wednesday for All I Need. Guests can enjoy a brunch meal that has been carefully created (served from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM) while also taking in breathtaking views of the ocean, all while being serenaded by chill beats.
When the clock strikes six o’clock, the tempo picks up in Le Restaurant, which is the restaurant terrace at Playa Soleil, and music becomes the primary focus of this unique weekly event.
RUMORS
Fridays | 30 June – 29 September
This summer, one of Ibiza’s most cultured parties, RUMORS, will find a new spiritual home at Playa Soleil. RUMORS has always been known as one of the most cultured parties on the island.
The world-famous party thrown by Guy Gerber will, beginning at six o’clock each week, play host to electronic music’s most intriguing musicians in a setting that is quintessentially Balearic.
The production will be elegant, and the views out to the breathtaking Mediterranean sea will provide opportunities for spine-tingling moments as the sun sets and beautiful souls come together to celebrate and dance under the sun and stars.
CALYPSO
Saturdays | 8 July – 30 September
Jaime Fiorito, a long-time music scavenger and fire starter, has produced a soundscape full of sophisticated rhythms, and you should get ready to be charmed by it.
Every Saturday night, beginning at 6 p.m. and lasting until the club closes, the mysterious selector presents a night of Latin and electronic grooves to Playa Soleil. The guests will be taken away to the realm of Calypso, which is a place that is unrestricted by the constraints of time.
PALMARAMA
Sundays | 2 July – 1 October
Palmarama is an original concept that brings together organic components and natural settings, and each of its parties features a fresh lineup of headlining DJs.
Every Sunday, guests will be led on a sonic adventure of discovery when Palmarama takes over Le Restaurant, which is located on the covered terrace area of Playa Soleil and has breathtaking views across the Mediterranean.
As the sun sets, Palmarama’s very own carry-on Slave to the Rave will keep the party going until the early hours of the morning.
Playa Soleil will be providing, in addition to the musical entertainment, an out-of-this-world gourmet experience that will be overseen by Executive Chef Cristhian Castaeda.
He has more than ten years of experience working in the industry and has worked in some of the top restaurants in Spain, including some restaurants that are listed in the Michelin Guide.
Playa Soleil will also include a variety of wellness activities, all of which are intended to make you feel more at ease, rooted, and connected to your mind, body, and the natural world around you.
