I met Drew (helloworld) in LA just over a year ago, it was a time that the world was feeling extraaaa heavy for me. We went back and forth on a tonne of ideas and this was the one that stuck. Annnnnndddd we were extremely lucky that the wonderful San Holo laid down some guitar for the record. Chatting to San on FaceTime the other day and we realised we first met about 7/8 years ago when we both opened for Hardwell. Mad. Grateful to reconnect and have his genius on this record too. This piece is about wanting to feel weightless again – to be free of something that’s been pulling on you emotionally. When I hear this song, it just feels so light and feathery – almost a love song to that feeling. This release is really important to me because it gave me the opportunity to work with some artists I really look up to. Being able to write this song with such good friends such as Mason and Jordan, along with being able to sing it and produce it with Throttle (whom I adore) – and to have some guitar from San – there were so many talented artists and amazing humans that played a part in this song.
