Böjo and Dr Honey

A profound EP compiled by Dr. Honey and Bojo, with the songs “Por Ti,” “Palo Santo,” and “Where Do We Go?” as well as a remix by the Austrian DJ and producer duo SIN, is now available for purchase.

The extended play kicks off with a song called “Por Ti,” which transports us into the intricate feelings and unpredictability of being in a relationship. It discusses loving someone without conditions and giving one’s entire self to that person without knowing if the feeling will be returned. This album creates an original hybrid by combining elements such as synthesizers, melodic techno beats, and romantic lyrical content.

The second release delves extensively into the investigation of the new sounds that have been created as a result of the merger of the two projects. The powerful and forward-thinking sounds of “Palo Santo” are a result of the album’s integration of elements of Latin American roots music, modern electronic music, and the sounds of Berlin, the city in which Dr. Honey resides. On the dance floor, the irregular, immersive, and bizarre groove allows us to sense the power that it possesses.

Last but not least, “Where Do We Go?” is included on this compilation, and it is also the name of the first EP. This heartfelt song captures the anxiety that comes with not being able to predict how far a relationship may go. A tipping point is any point beyond which one must make a decision regarding whether or not to continue on.

Consider the ways in which the complete EP can provide light on the development of the musical styles of both groups.
