On Friday, February 17th release of El Baile (Cheyne Christian Remix) reveals a completely new side to the music of this increasingly important producer.
The fantastically atmospheric house track “El Baile” (Cheyne Christian Remix) transports you deep into a muggy jungle. You are guided there by ethereal flutes, and the rhythm is maintained by stomping drums and tropical percussion. Every weekend, Cheyne spends time soundtracking popular international dance floors like Somewhere NoWhere (NYC) and House of Hyde at SLS (Miami). February 24th has seen him touch down at SLS with Friendwithin and he’ll also be appearing at some events during Miami Music Week yet to be announced.
Building on the popularity of his most recent track, an exquisite collaboration with San Francisco vocalists IDA fLO, he now contributes his own style to a brand-new remix.
David Novacek, a well-known house DJ and producer from the Czech Republic with hit records on labels like Spinnin’ Records and Armada Music, is one of the creators of “El Baile.” He has teamed up with Colombian underground producer Juan Galvis, a veteran of the top of the Beatport charts who adds influences from South America to the original. And fellow Colombian Ald4na is a Juicy Music mainstay who completes the trio.
