A State of Trance has officially released the entire lineup for its first edition in Rotterdam, DESTINATION. A whopping 57 musicians have been announced for the two-day event in February, appealing to musical tastes across the board.
Armin van Buuren will perform on both Friday and Saturday, with different plans for each set. In addition, renowned trance performers such as Cosmic Gate, John O’Callaghan, and nilsix will return. A new generation making waves in the genre will be there as well. You’ll see Ben Hemsley, Benwal, and Eva Vrijdag on the stage. A State of Trance DESTINATION will also feature a variety of subgenres. Expect Colyn, Innellea, and Mees Salomé to express their ethereal sound. HI-LO, Maddix, and MORTEN will represent a harder alternative instead. Notably, NWYR – W&W’s alter ego famed for their booming take on trance music – will make a return. He will an explosive conclusion to the weekend.

With the relocation to Rotterdam, A State of Trance begins a new chapter in its history. Van Buuren’s brand has always managed to stay relevant throughout the last two decades; the DESTINATION line-up is proof of that. The lineup includes the return of trance scene icons as well as a platform for musicians attracting the next generation. A State of Trance continues to feature other subgenres that perfectly integrate with the brand’s core.
In 2024, A State of Trance will develop from a single-day event to a weekender. It will introduce daytime programming and the A State of Trance Hotel. Tens of thousands of (inter-)national fans are scheduled to descend on Ahoy Rotterdam on Friday. It will surely be remembered as the first page in the new chapter of A State of Trance.
