Ansun debuts on Jenia’s Label X with the dark ‘You Got Me’. The record is the eighth release of the Cyprus-based record label.

Cyprus-based DJ and producer Jenia, formerly part of the Jenia x Mr. Styles duo, has launched his Label X project last year, which since then has released some really interesting tracks. Focusing on dark progressive house vibes, the label managed to carve out its’ space in the Groove scene remnants. Their first release, ‘Midnight’ has received massive support from the community and names such as Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman and Don Diablo dropped it on their respective radio show. Besides the great quality of the releases, Label X care maniacally the visual part of its releases.

The latest Label X release comes from the newcomer Ansun, and it’s titled ‘You Got Me’. This tune is a valid showcase of the label’s signature sound, which Jenia called “Urban Prog” in the interview we had last year: dark brasses, epic melodies, and a few techy influences. The big bassline cleaverly edited with the vowel effect marry perfectly with the hard kicks and subs. ‘You Got Me’ jump into a melodic and dark breakdown that, fused with the initial bassline, generate an explosion of sounds in the second drop.

Based in Newcastle, UK, Ansun project is a recent start. ‘You Got Me’ has been featured in both X1 and X2 Mix Series and it’s also his first release under Ansun alias.
