Boom Festival in Portugal has announced a partnership with TicketSwap, Europe’s leading secondary ticketing marketplace.
The partnership includes a deep integration with Weezevent, TicketSwap’s ticketing company, which allows TicketSwap to void sold tickets and issue new ones to buyers. Fans can buy and sell quickly and easily with this Secure Swap integration, which also gives the festival organizer visibility.
The collaboration marks TicketSwap’s first foray into the Portuguese market, following recent launches in Italy and Brazil.

Boom is a renowned psytrance festival. The next edition will be held on the 22nd-29th of June 2022, and it will be the largest event of its kind in Europe. Every two years, it takes place.
Boom Festival has won the Greener Festival Excellence Award four times (2008, 2010, 2012, and 2014), as well as the YOUROPE Green & Clean Festival of the Year in 2010, which led to Boom being accepted into the United Nations Music & Environment Initiative.
The event, which had been postponed in 2020 and 2021, has been extremely popular on TicketSwap, with nearly 4,000 people registering for tickets and nearly 500 tickets being sold in the first three days.
