The 2024 lineup for the ARC Music Festival, has been announced. ARC is Chicago’s biggest house and techno festival. It will take place from August 30th to September 1st, 2024 at Union Park.

Since its start, ARC has brought together a wide range of global and local musical styles and audiences. It has become a mainstay on the global festival scene and brought attention to Chicago’s rich cultural history. Keys of ARC Music Festival are cutting-edge production and advanced lineup curation. We at The Groove Cartel put a lot of focus on new talents and ARC is nothing less. The festival focuses on teaching the next generation of electronic music fans about the genre’s roots.

The lineup for the ARC Music Festival 2024 features headliners like Disclosure, Carl Cox B2B Green Velvet, Skepta, and Honey Dijon, alongside an array of top-tier acts including Charlotte de Witte, Dom Dolla, Sven Väth, and many more across four stages.

From dawn till dusk: ARC afterparties with ARC After Dark

You will be able to virtually party all weekend long non-stop thanks to the after-parties. Auris Presents, Chicago’s best experiential festival and event creator, is in charge of all the ARC After Dark afterparties. They will go on until the early hours of the morning.

The After Dark programming will run for five days, from Thursday to Monday. It will include a wide range of carefully chosen parties with artist aliases, special b2bs, label takeovers, and some acts that aren’t part of the festival schedule. After-parties are exclusive to ARC Music Festival’s ticket holders. The after-parties include 13 venues, 30 parties, and 80 acts.

What’s the ARC Music Festival 2024 lineup? House, techno, and everything in between

ARC’s festival lineup includes headlining acts like Disclosure, Carl Cox B2B Green Velvet, a special house set from famous grime pioneer Skepta, and Honey Dijon. There are still a lot of great acts on the bill, like Charlotte de Witte (Belgian techno superstar and KNTXT label head), Dom Dolla (Grammy winner and in-demand hitmaker), and Sven Väth (German techno veteran).

In line with ARC’s forward-thinking approach to music selection, special back-to-back sets and partnerships take its lineup to a whole new level. Some of these are the popular house bands Hot Since 82 B2B Chris Stussy and Sonny Fodera B2B Eats Everything going back and forth, the high-BPM sounds of DJ Heartstring B2B Partiboi69, and Pawsa and Dennis Cruz‘s joint project GOLFOS. UK powerhouse team Ben Sterling B2B ROSSI, clubland favorites DJ Boring B2B Young Marco, and a meeting of new and old school with Dennis Ferrer B2B HoneyLuv are some of the other highlights.

Special b2b and hard techno are also on ARC lineup

Other back-to-back shows at ARC include Detroit meets Chicago sets from Carl Craig and Moodymann, the pioneering Detroit Love, and experienced DJs Holographic and Shaun J. Wright. There are also two Chicago back-to-backs from house architects Derrick Carter and Mark Farina, Hiroko Yamamura and DJ Hyperactive, and Marshall Jefferson and Gene Farris.

Modern house stars like Purple Disco Machine (disco funk master), Gorgon City (chart-topping production duo), Kaskade Redux (melodic set), The Martinez Brothers (Bronx-born pair), Jayda G (disco queen) and LP Giobbi (piano-house icon) will perform at ARC. The lineup also includes the Dutch duo ANOTR, the innovative GRAMMY-winning singer Cassian, the rising star Mau P, the head of the Dirty Disco party AZZECCA, and the popular actor and DJ Idris Elba.

Too soft for you? Just wait to hear the heavy techno music that ARC Music Festival has on the 2024 lineup. German DJ Klangkuenstler, Filth On Acid heavyweight Reinier Zonneveld Live, hard techno queen Sara Landry, German electronic duo FJAAK, French DJ and producer Nico Moreno, and versatile Ukrainian act Daria Kolosova. Fans can look forward to the jazz-influenced music of Barry Can’t Swim from Scotland, the lo-fi house selections of DJ Seinfeld, the cross-genre productions of Logic1000, the fast-rising bass and garage star Sammy Virji from the UK, and the rhythmic high-bpm styles of KETTAMA, X CLUB.

4 stages including elrow and a brand new stage, Area 909

Fans of house and techno from around the world will have a great time at ARC Music Festival. The four different stages will be connected by carefully chosen production elements and art. ARC will bring back all four of its stages starting in 2023. These are the industrial Grid stage, the interactive and psychedelic production of Spain’s famous elrow and its famous performers, the deeper sounds of the Expansions stage, and the newest fan favorite, Area 909, which pays tribute to the roots of house and techno in a raw and energetic setting.
