Black Book Records and Astralwerks have announced the release of Chris Lake‘s Four Tet remix of his viral smash “In the Yuma” with Aatig. In place of the slow-morphing rhythms and dramatic piano of the original, Four Tet‘s majestic makeover features frenzied, go-for-broke house production. The result is a majestic makeover that brims with charisma and attitude.

The original version, which was influenced by Chris Lake‘s performance in the Yuma tent at Coachella 2019, masterfully combines the seductive voice of Aatig with blazing beats and bewildering effects.

When put in the capable hands of the veteran British producer Four Tet, the pulsating tune acquires a whole new air thanks to its unhinged piano melodies, layers of textures and noises, and iconic house beat. All of these elements are interspersed throughout the track.

Four Tet demonstrated that the remix possesses all of the necessary components to get people moving on the dance floor when he played it during his headlining set at Coachella B2B Skrillex and Fred again.. this year.

The remix comes on the heels of the GRAMMY®-nominated artist’s most recent track, “Beggin,” a scorching duet with Aluna that drew praise from many media outlets, including Forbes, which referred to it as “another anthemic song by Lake.”

This song was a standout throughout both of Chris Lake’s sold-out concerts at Brooklyn Mirage, which is further evidence of the legendary status he holds within the dance world.
