Watson’s “Late Night Phone Call,” his first release on deadmau5‘s esteemed hau5trap label, is now available on all platforms.

He is unadulterated house music at its finest. Kyle Watson, who has previously released on world-renowned labels such as Realm, Higher Ground, Atlantic Records, and others, now turns to hau5trap for the release of his ripping “Late Night Phone Call.” Oscillating percussive elements and a classic sample of a ringing cell phone propel the track into a frenzy “What’s up? Can you hear what I’m saying? “prior to an enthralling onslaught of intoxicating house grooves.

I worked on ‘Late Night Phone Call’ for ages, tweaking it over and over to get it to this point. I wanted to keep it really simple, with a groove and drums that had to be strong enough to pull the track energy along. The sense of anticipation in the buildups contrasts really well with the drops, so when that bassline pops back in after that memorable vocal sample it just seems to hit right every time. – Kyle Watson

Kyle Watson keeps his foot on the gas and his finger on the pulse of house music, constantly innovating his refined sound with each new release. Watson’s rapid rise to stardom has been widely celebrated by megaheads such as Chris Lake, Diplo, and Gorgon City, and has been echoed by all corners of the industry. In addition to the release of his “Late Night Phone Call,” Watson is set to perform a slew of shows across North America, as well as festival performances at CRSSD, Ubbi Dubbi, and Lightning In A Bottle.
