Three consecutive times DJ Mag TOP 100 winner, Martin Garrix has now his own line of stamps, available for purchase worldwide.
If you’re following Martin for some time now, you know that stamps are a big part of his career; I mean, maybe not the actual physic stamps but his music label is named after them. Founded in 2016, STMPD Records has become a key point of Martin’s career and, as the name suggests, the visual concept about it is… stamps! Covers are designed specifically to look like stamps and, even the merch released over the past months and years have followed this “wave”.
From an early age I’ve had stamps around me due to my dad’s company. Therefore, when starting my label, we even chose a name that refers to stamps: STMPD RCRDS. It is very special to be on a stamp myself now and I am super happy with the end result. – Martin Garrix
Now, it was time to step up the game so Martin Garrix decided to launch his own physical stamps. Announced some minutes ago, they’re available worldwide for a very accessible price. To get and bought them you have to follow this link that will make you choose based on the fact if you’re living in The Netherlands or not.
The international store (click here to go) lets you buy a card containing five Martin Garrix stamps and even a postcard with a Martin Garrix’s stamp on it. The price is £4.33 for the stamps and GBP £4.47 for the postcard that is just under € 5. The special Martin Garrix stamp sheet has an augmented reality layer. This places a digital layer over reality. An app has been specially made for this issue, which can be downloaded for free from Google Play and the Apple Store. The stamps can only be activated via the app. By scanning the stamps from the app, an AR application (augmented reality) starts with a performance by Martin Garrix.
The stamp sheet features 5 stamps in 5 identical designs with the silhouette of the world-famous Dutch DJ and music producer. The design of the Martin Garrix stamp sheetlet was created by Boris Lammertse, a graphic designer of STMPD RCRDS.

The stamp has kept up with the current technology with a free interactive app that gives access to photos, info, and a very special Garrix addition; by scanning the stamp with the app you will get an exclusive, private AR (augmented reality) performance by Martin Garrix himself. Because the DJ/producer and his booth merge with the camera of the phone, the viewer can enjoy the performance everywhere; at home, outside on the beach, or even on top of a mountain.
