With an official statement, the Winter Music Conference has announced the rescheduling of the whole event to a future date because of the new Covid-19 Coronavirus.

After the announcement of the cancelation of the Ultra Music Festival in Miami because of the continuous spreading of Covid-19, also the already planned Winter Music Conference has been postponed. The official press release talks about a reschedule but no new dates have been provided.

Due to the Florida Governor’s declaration of a public health emergency and the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention’s Interim Guidance for COVID-19, the 35th edition of Winter Music Conference, originally scheduled for March 16 – 19, 2020, will be rescheduled.

After spending the past ten months preparing for the event with our team, panelists and event partners, we are profoundly disappointed, however, there is nothing more important than the health, safety and physical well-being of our attendees and employees.

With its four days of talks, panels, meetings and more, the Winter Music Conference gathered the most important people of the dance music industry. More than 150 speakers and 50 panels were scheduled for this year’s edition of WMC. 2020 would have marked the 35th anniversary of the annual conference.
