After putting out “Afterlife” and “Beyond” in 2023 on the Finnish indie electronic label Youth Control, DJ/Producer Noana returns with the stunning new song “Drift Off,” which is probably his best work to date.
‘Drift Off‘ features a deep pool of evocative melodies that will hook you right away. Its mix of dreamy pads, idyllic arps, and rolling synths keeps up a true and new Progressive House blueprint, driven by stunning vocals and pulsating grooves. The single dances a fascinating line between sadness and happiness. It offers a unique mix of music that makes you want to dance and music that makes you think.
The solo project: Youth Control
Noana used to be a member of the famous group Leu Leu Land. He has a lot of great records on big labels like Sony Music and Anjunabeats, and famous artists like Giorgio Moroder have remixed his music.
Noana debuted his solo project in 2023. It was a fascinating style of cinematic and emotionally charged dance music. Noana’s sound is always changing as his genre adapts to the moods of the seasons. With the beautiful-sounding “Drift Off,” he now sends a wave of hope as spring comes.
