After the announcement of the brand new CDJ some weeks ago, Pioneer DJ is back with a brand new machine, the DJM-S11 mixer.

The DJM-S11 professional 2-channel DJ mixer is the successor of the DJM-S9. The new model, with its 4-deck control, enhances various elements from its predecessor. Compatible with Serato DJ Pro or rekordbox, the mixer lets you seamless work with your favorite DJ software.

The first thing that catches the eye is the brand new customizable touch screen display. Located in the top-center of the machine, it has a 4.3-inch panel showing all the information the DJ needs, and more. It features TOUCH FX, a tool that lets you browse tracks, check waveforms, and dynamically change the texture of the music. With Touch MIDI the DJ can even directly control functions in the DJ software without touching the laptop.

On the new DJM-S11, the effect section has been enhanced and expanded. It now includes 22 Beat FX, including the new Fader Pitch and Helix. Smooth Echo is a new effect that you can automatically engage when you move the faders or hit the pads you’ve assigned as triggers.

The colored PAD was one of the main things that let the DJM-S9 standout. In this new version, the 8 Performance Pads are bigger, making them easier to hit in energetic battles. In Serato DJ Pro, you can use Combo Pad mode to combine up to 4 different pad modes at once and use Scratch Bank to call up assigned scratch samples by just tapping a pad.

For a perfect scratch experience, Pioneer DJ has enhanced the feeling of the MAGVEL FADER PRO and boosted its vertical rigidity by 30 percent. These changes let the DJ scratch with more confidence, while the tougher coating around the crossfader area reduces wear and tear.

Last but not least, the most important improvement in the mixer. The DJM-S11 inherits the raw and high-density sound from the DJM-900NXS2 thanks to studio-quality 64-bit mixing and dithering processing inside the DSP, and a low-jitter clock circuit and 32bit high-quality D/A converter in the master output section.

The brand new DJM-S11 includes USB A and B ports for USB sticks and MIDI-controller as well as more functions you’ll find on Pioneer DJ official website.

The DJM-S11 is available from your local dealer today at the SRP of $1,999 USD (excl. tax) | €1,999 (incl. VAT) | £1,809. More info.
